Responsibilities

- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to promote optimal oral health.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, diet, and preventive care strategies to maintain healthy smiles.
- Assist with patient examinations by recording medical histories, vital signs, and dental charts using Dentrix or similar practice management software.
- Support the dental team with procedures such as orthodontics, pediatrics, and other specialized treatments as needed.
- Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure all dental instruments and equipment are properly sanitized.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out.





Qualifications

- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state or regional requirements.
- Prior experience working in a dental office setting is preferred; familiarity with dental assisting is a plus.
- Proficiency with dental practice management software.
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology enhances your ability to serve diverse patient needs.
- Mandarin, Cantonese, or another Asian language skills are not required, but highly desirable to effectively communicate with our local demographic
- Solid customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly, professional environment for patients of all ages.
- Experience working with dental office teams and understanding of infection control procedures.
