We’re looking for a casual/part-time dental hygienist for our after hours clinic. This includes evenings, Fridays and some Saturdays. This position is a commission based pay structure.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental hygiene team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental hygiene care to our clients while promoting oral health and hygiene. This role requires a strong commitment to client care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
- Educate clients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Preform current client assessment, diagnosis &treatment; planning.
- Preform in-office teeth whitening procedures.
- Write referrals to other dental providers.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance experience and satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety protocols &IPAC;
- Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
- Responsible for sterilization, room clean up/set up & chart writing.
Qualifications
- Valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Knowledge on myofunctional therapy as asset.
- Must be diode laser certified.
- Must be a member of CDHA.
- Knowledge in Curve Dental an asset.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- MUST purchase own cassettes/dental hygiene tools. All other equipment and tools provided.
