Job Summary

Mind to Muscle (M2M) is looking to welcome a motivated Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to our high-performance training facility in Barrie.

We are looking for an RMT with an interest in sports massage and athletic recovery to complement our existing training programs and expand the services available to our clients. You will have the opportunity to work with athletes, active individuals, and clients looking to improve mobility, manage muscle tension, support recovery, and maintain an athletic lifestyle.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated professional who wants to build their practice within a performance-focused environment and collaborate with other health, fitness, and wellness professionals.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide individualized massage therapy treatments, including sports massage, deep tissue, and other appropriate techniques based on client needs and professional assessment.
- Support athletic recovery, mobility, muscle health, and overall physical wellness through evidence-informed treatment approaches.
- Assess clients and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with their goals, activity levels, training demands, and presenting concerns.
- Work with athletes before or after training and competition, where appropriate, to support recovery and physical preparation.
- Collaborate with strength and conditioning coaches and other professionals at M2M to provide a coordinated approach to performance and wellness.
- Educate clients on recovery strategies, self-care, and appropriate follow-up recommendations.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with all applicable professional, privacy, and regulatory requirements.




- Help grow M2M's massage therapy and recovery services by building relationships with athletes, members, and the broader community.
- Maintain a professional, clean, and welcoming treatment environment.

Qualifications
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).
- An interest in sports massage, athletic performance, and exercise.
- Knowledge of massage therapy techniques relevant to muscle tension, mobility, recovery, and physical wellness.
- Strong assessment, communication, and client relationship skills.
- A collaborative mindset and an interest in working alongside fitness and health professionals.
- An entrepreneurial attitude and enthusiasm for developing a client base within a growing performance facility.
- Previous experience working with athletes or in a sports medicine, rehabilitation, or performance setting is an asset, but not required.
