Duties
- Assess patients’ physical conditions using medical terminology and clinical evaluation techniques to develop tailored treatment plans.
- Provide hands-on physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and mobility training.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to maximize effectiveness.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and health maintenance strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment sessions,
and progress notes in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Participate in hospital or clinic rounds, contributing insights on patient care plans and discharge readiness.
Requirements
- Valid registration as a Physiotherapist with the appropriate licensing body.
- Proven experience working in hospital settings with exposure to acute care environments.
- Experience working with pediatric patients and familiarity with pediatric physiotherapy techniques is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams in fast-paced environments.
- Prior experience in hospital or acute care settings is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
