Looking to add flexible, supplemental income to your current practice? Join our Ontario-based, fully remote integrative team as a Nurse Practitioner, where your expertise is valued and your time is respected. This opportunity lets you earn extra income with minimal admin work and no rigid hours.

This is an ongoing role, not a short-term placement. We’re looking for an NP who wants to build a long-term working relationship and grow with us.

Our Naturopathic Doctors assess each patient and recommend bloodwork or imaging, with their clinical reasons documented in the chart. You review the file and, as the ordering practitioner, confirm the testing is clinically appropriate and complete the requisitions. When results come in, you upload them and let the patient and ND know.

Key Responsibilities

- Review the ND’s assessment and recommended testing in the patient’s chart and, as the ordering practitioner, confirm the tests are clinically appropriate and complete the requisition within one business day.
- Document your decision in the EMR (Jane) and share the requisition with the patient.
- When results are received, upload them to the chart, review them, and notify the patient and the ND through our EMR.
- Occasionally, call the patient directly when a result is clinically urgent, such as a critical value that needs prompt action.

Compensation

- $30 per patient file.



A patient file is the full job for one patient: reviewing the chart, ordering the testing, and handling the results when they come in. Each file takes about 20 minutes start to finish, an equivalent hourly rate of about $90

, well above the Ontario NP average of about $70.

- With an anticipated 40 to 80 patient files a month , you can earn $1,200 to $2,400 a month in supplemental income.

- Additional earnings: $20 per call for a clinically urgent result, and $15 when a requisition needs to be re-issued because of a patient error, such as a misspelled name or incorrect details.

Qualifications

- Licensed Nurse Practitioner in Ontario, registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario and in good standing.
- Genuinely interested in functional and integrative medicine, and enjoys a whole-person, root-cause approach to care.
- A New Brunswick NP license is a plus, but not required.
- Looking for a long-term role and ready to commit to an ongoing working relationship.
- Comfortable with EMR systems, online lab portals, and secure online communication.
- A team player with a positive attitude, who enjoys working closely with naturopathic doctors to support seamless, patient-centered care.
- Detail-oriented, with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow with a supportive team.
