About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join their fully remote team, specializing in solutions for the energy sector . You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying scalable software applications that address critical challenges in energy management, grid optimization, and data analytics. This role offers the flexibility of remote work combined with the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects that are shaping the future of energy technology.

You will collaborate with a distributed team of engineers, product managers, and domain experts, driving technical excellence and product innovation from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems using modern programming languages and frameworks.

Develop and optimize algorithms for energy data analysis , predictive modeling, and operational efficiency.

Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Write clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code, ensuring high quality and maintainability.

Participate actively in code reviews,



architectural discussions, and technical planning.

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to establishing best practices within the engineering team.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

7+ years of skilled experience in software development , with a focus on backend systems.

Strong proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, Go, or C++, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Proven experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and distributed systems.

Experience working in the energy industry or with energy-related data is highly desirable.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a remote, collaborative environment.
