Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation, food safety, and sanitation
- Engage with guests to provide personalized recommendations, upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns swiftly and professionally

Qualifications

- Proven food service experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred
- Solid customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order entry and cashiering
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and basic food safety practices
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and bill calculations
- Previous restaurant experience that demonstrates hospitality, serving expertise, and multitasking ability is advantageous
