Full-time, 32 to 40 hours per week | $21.00/hour to start, with a wage review after 3 months
This isn't a cashier job. We're looking for someone who wants to build a career in cannabis and help run the store. You'll work alongside our Operations Manager, learn the business side of retail, and take ownership of key parts of the operation. You'll also be a trusted key holder who can run the store independently.
What you'll do
- Open and close the store, including cash handling and end-of-day procedures
- Deliver knowledgeable, friendly service and help customers find the right products
- Support weekly product ordering and monthly inventory counts
- Help keep our website, online menu, and social media up to date
- Keep the store compliant with BC cannabis regulations and our internal procedures
- Support and set an example for other team members
What we're looking for
- 19 years of age or older
- Retail, hospitality, or customer service experience
- A genuine interest in cannabis: products, culture, and where the industry is going
- A self-starter who takes initiative and follows through without being reminded
- Comfortable with computers, spreadsheets, and learning recent software
- Sound judgment, especially around rules and compliance
- Reliable, organized, and calm when running the store solo
Nice to have
- Cannabis retail experience
- Experience with POS or inventory systems, website editing, or social media
- Experience in a supervisory or key holder role
Schedule A mix of weekday afternoons and evenings plus weekend shifts. Weekend availability is required. The store is open 10am to 9pm daily. Pay: From $21.00 per hour
