Duties
- Prepare fresh sandwiches and food items according to established recipes and customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the food preparation area, adhering to food safety regulations
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to guarantee safety and quality
- Assist with restocking supplies and maintaining a tidy work environment
Skills
- Experience in food preparation and food service environments, preferably within the restaurant or food industry
- Proficiency with POS systems, including Micros POS, for efficient transactions
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly without compromising quality
- Customer service expertise with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory counts
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting while maintaining a positive attitude
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced restaurant environment is highly desirable
