We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Guard to uphold safety and security at our client’s premises. In this role, you will monitor the property using surveillance systems, enforce security protocols, prevent loss, and respond swiftly to incidents. Your presence will help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or breaches
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the site
- Control access points by verifying identification and authorizing entry for authorized personnel and visitors
- Deter theft and vandalism through vigilant observation and engagement
- Respond promptly to alarms or emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed
- Complete detailed incident reports and logs of daily activities or security breaches
- Enforce company policies and safety procedures consistently across all areas
Qualifications
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is highly desirable
- Strong surveillance skills with familiarity in operating CCTV systems
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to protect assets effectively
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail during patrols and inspections
- Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies or high-pressure situations
- Valuable communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately
Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
