Job Summary

Duties

- Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Indian dishes, ensuring flavor, presentation, and quality meet established standards
- Handle all aspects of food preparation, including chopping, marinating, seasoning, and assembling ingredients for various recipes
- Maintain proper food safety practices by adhering to hygiene standards and safe food handling procedures
- Serve dishes efficiently to ensure timely delivery to customers or service staff
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and storage spaces
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal service during busy hours and special events
- Follow recipes accurately while also demonstrating flexibility to accommodate special dietary requests or menu changes

Skills





- Proven experience in food service or restaurant settings, particularly with Indian cuisine
- Strong knowledge of traditional Indian cooking techniques, spices, and ingredients
- Excellent food handling skills with a focus on safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to prepare meals efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Experience in serving guests and managing food presentation with attention to detail
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in Indian cooking
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $17.60-$30.18 per hour
