Duties
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly, ensuring timely service for guests
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, and dining areas before, during, and after service
- Support food preparation tasks such as setting up stations, refilling supplies, and organizing utensils
- Handle food safety protocols by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Support cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) operations when needed for guest transactions
- Ensure all areas are sanitized and cleaned according to health regulations and hotel standards
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs
Experience
- Previous food service experience preferred; familiarity with restaurant or hospitality environments is a plus
- Robust customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Experience in kitchen support roles such as food preparation or cleaning is advantageous
- Knowledge of POS systems like Micros POS or similar technology is beneficial
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Ability to handle food safely, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Experience working in hotel or fine dining settings enhances your suitability for this role
