Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu options with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, using POS systems
- Maintain a clean and organized service area, adhering to food safety and handling protocols
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, address inquiries, and resolve any concerns promptly
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar or dining area, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts to serve multiple tables efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing purposes
- Experience with bartending or serving in a hospitality setting is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
