Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process payments efficiently with proper cash handling procedures
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained during food handling and service
- Assist with food preparation, serving dishes, refilling beverages, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables promptly while maintaining high-quality service standards
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong guest service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order entry and transaction processing
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations within the food industry
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and bill splitting
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks as needed with attention to cleanliness and safety
- Robust communication skills for effective guest interactions and teamwork
- Hospitality mindset with a positive attitude and willingness to upsell menu items for a better guest experience
Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
