Daily Task:

Morning Duties:

- Administer morning medications
- Brief kennel staff on pets having behavioural concerns and plan for safety
- Check in at front desk for new arrivals - take pics of cage cards for reference
- Walk through shelter and visually check over each pet
- Ensure all pets have a cage card with diet directive
- Check in on cabin cats
- Perform intakes on new arrivals
- Set up deworming sheets for abandoned pets and perform an intake
- Input new arrivals into computer and book spay/neuter surgeries

Afternoon duties:

- Restock and clean med cart and check stock on diets + probiotics
- Ensure med sheets are up top date - signed for - and refill if required
- Prepare supper with evening meds for shelter pets
- Give enrichment toy and treat to each dog. Restock frozen enrichment treats
- Restock cabin supplies, special diets, meds, food, and bedding
- Check to ensure all cats have enrichment on their doors




- Check diffusers in cabin and free roaming rooms
- Review each medical log book and ensure all pets are up to date
- Check over compounds and ensure they are clean and tidy
- Clean ears and trim nails of pets in shelter if required
- Bathe dogs in shelter requiring a bath
