Georgian BMW / MINI Georgian is looking for an experienced, technically strong and people-focused Shop Foreman to join our Fixed Operations team.

This is more than a senior technician position. The Opportunity

As Shop Foreman, you will be a key leader within our Service Department and the technical link between our technicians, Service Advisors and Service Management team.

You will help ensure work moves through the shop efficiently, difficult diagnoses are handled effectively, repairs meet BMW and MINI standards, and our technicians have the coaching and support they need to succeed.

Most importantly, you will help create a shop culture built around teamwork,

accountability, continuous improvement and pride in the work we deliver.

What You’ll Do

- Provide day-to-day technical leadership, coaching and support to our team of

licensed technicians and apprentices
- Assist technicians with complex diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair

strategies
- Help manage workflow through the shop to maximize productivity, efficiency and

customer turnaround times
- Monitor repair quality and ensure work is completed to BMW/MINI and

dealership standards
- Support Service Management with technician performance, productivity and

shop capacity
- Work closely with Service Advisors to ensure accurate communication regarding

diagnosis, repair requirements and completion times
- Review repeat repairs and difficult technical cases, identifying root causes and

opportunities for improvement
- Support the development of apprentices and technicians through hands-on

coaching,



mentoring and knowledge sharing
- Stay current with BMW and MINI technical information, diagnostic procedures,

recalls, service campaigns and emerging vehicle technology
- Promote safe working practices, proper equipment use and a clean, professional

shop environment
- Lead by example and help foster a culture where technicians support one

another and take pride in doing the job right the first time

Who We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidate is an accomplished automotive technician who is ready to lead

— or an experienced Shop Foreman looking for an opportunity with a premium automotive dealership and a strong organization behind it.

You bring:

- Ontario 310S Automotive Service Technician certification
- Strong diagnostic and technical abilities
- Previous BMW/MINI or European automotive experience is strongly preferred
- Previous leadership, Shop Foreman or senior technician experience is an asset
- Strong knowledge of modern vehicle electrical, electronic and diagnostic systems
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- The ability to coach and develop technicians without losing sight of productivity

and accountability
- Solid communication and organizational skills
- A team-first attitude and genuine desire to help others succeed
- High standards for workmanship, professionalism and customer care
