Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and install various types of siding materials using hand tools and power tools, ensuring precise fit and finish.
- Need to have siding installation experience of 2-3 years .
- Familiar with vinyl , metal , engineered wood siding.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to accurately execute installation plans.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, caulking, and making necessary repairs to ensure proper siding adhesion and durability.
- Use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, chisels, and levels to secure siding panels efficiently.
- Lift heavy siding materials safely and assist with loading/unloading supplies on-site.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high safety standards.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to ensure siding is aligned, secure, and visually appealing.
Experience
- Prior construction experience or a background in carpentry is highly preferred; training will be provided for those new to the trade.
- Familiarity with hand tools, caulking techniques, blueprint reading, and general handyman skills is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to siding installation and construction best practices.
