Pulse Signs & Design Inc. / Minuteman Press is an established and growing signage and printing company serving businesses throughout Nova Scotia. We specialize in custom commercial signage, large-format printing, vehicle graphics, window and wall graphics, banners, and various other signage solutions.

We are currently looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Sign Maker / Sign Production Technician to join our production team at our Burnside facility in Dartmouth.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in sign production, fabrication, vinyl application, and working with different signage materials. Previous experience in the signage industry is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Fabricate and assemble various types of commercial and custom signage.
- Work with materials including aluminum composite panels (ACM), PVC, acrylic, coroplast, aluminum, and other signage substrates.
- Apply vinyl graphics to sign panels and other surfaces.
- Cut, weed, mask, laminate, and prepare vinyl graphics for production.
- Operate vinyl cutters, laminators, and other signage production equipment.
- Cut, trim, drill, and assemble signage components using hand and power tools.
- Prepare and finish sign panels, dimensional signage, and other custom signage products.
- Read and interpret production drawings, measurements, and job specifications.
- Prepare completed signage and graphics for installation.
- Maintain quality standards and ensure projects are completed accurately and on time.
- Work closely with designers,



production staff, and installers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in sign making, sign production, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with signage materials such as ACM, PVC, acrylic, coroplast, and vinyl.
- Experience with vinyl cutting, weeding, masking, laminating, and application.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read measurements and follow production instructions.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.

Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following would be considered an asset:
- Commercial sign fabrication and assembly
- Large-format printing and finishing
- Vinyl graphics production and application
- ACM and other rigid substrate fabrication
- Sign panel preparation and finishing
- CNC router operation
- Vehicle graphics and wrap preparation
- General shop fabrication and production equipment
