Leila Daycare Center Inc.is looking for an Early Childhood Educator 2 to be a Team Lead.

Full time or Part Time permanent position.

Some of the job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Working on the floor with children aged 12 months-12 years old.
- Guiding, mentoring and leading a team of staff.
- Have really valuable behaviour management skills.
- Provide programming for the children based on their interests and development.
- Follow all licensing, best practice and health/safety policies.
- Have good knowledge of ratios (included mixed ages and enhanced)
- Effective, kind, caring communication with children, parents and other staff.
- Love going outside in all weather.

Following are the requirements of the position:
- Early Childhood Education Level II (would consider someone in training)
- Daycare experience of Minimum 2 year is required
- Must be available to work between the hours of 7am-530pm with the ability to do split shifts if needed.
- Be reliable, flexible and understand the ever changing environments in child care
- Experience working with children of all ages and abilities
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

- Friendly and approachable demeanour
- Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic at all times
- Must have valid Criminal Record checks, Child Abuse Checks, Commit to Kids certificate, First Aid/CPR valid certificate and ECE 2 certificate from Manitoba if possible before start of position.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $28.36 per hour
