Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders using Micros POS or similar cash register systems
- Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces in compliance with sanitation regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and order accuracy
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality in all food preparation tasks
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Familiarity with a POS system
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Basic math skills for managing payments, making change, and completing simple calculations
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced setting while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with food preparation, serving, or kitchen operations is advantageous but not mandatory
