The Chance
We are looking for a caring and confident Associate Veterinarian to join our team for a 12 to 15 month maternity leave coverage starting in February 2027. This is a great chance to step into a well-established practice with a supportive team, loyal clients and a manageable schedule.
Position Details
- Full-time contract position covering a maternity leave
- Start date: February 2027
- Contract length: 12 to 15 months
- 30 to 35 hours per week, spread over 3 to 3.5 days
- Salary range: $120,000 to $150,000 per year, based on hours worked and years of experience
What You Will Do
- Provide wellness, preventive and sick-patient care for dogs and cats
- Perform routine surgery and dentistry
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients about diagnostics, treatment plans and estimates
- Work closely with our RVTs and client care team to keep the day running smoothly
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records

- DVM degree and licensed with the College of Veterinarians of Ontario
