Flash Security Services Ltd.

Flash Security Services Ltd. is seeking an accomplished Vice President, Business Development & Regional Growth to lead the company’s next stage of expansion. We are looking for a commercially minded business leader who combines strong education, proven sales results, financial judgment, and the ability to recruit and develop high-performing teams.

The initial priority will be to accelerate growth across the Greater Toronto Area's, strengthen our sales function, and personally secure strategic contracts. The broader mandate is to establish a sustainable model for expansion across Ontario, building regional sales teams and progressively assuming leadership responsibility for branch offices and their performance.

This is a hands-on executive position, not solely a strategy or sales-management role. The successful candidate must be equally comfortable opening doors, negotiating contracts, coaching salespeople, evaluating business opportunities, and presenting growth plans to senior leadership.

Working closely with the CEO, our Sales & Marketing, and Client Relations teams, this individual will help determine where Flash grows, how we compete, and how we build the people and processes needed to support that growth.

Key Responsibilities Business Strategy & Commercial Growth

- Develop and execute annual and multi-year growth plans, translating company objectives into clear priorities, revenue targets, budgets, and measurable milestones.
- Identify priority sectors, strategic accounts, partnerships, and regional markets where Flash can build a sustainable competitive position.
- Evaluate market conditions, competitor activity, customer needs, and pricing opportunities to guide commercial decisions and investment.

New Business Development & Strategic Accounts
- Personally originate, develop, and close new business opportunities, with an initial focus on the GTA and larger, recurring-service contracts.
- Lead the full sales cycle, including prospecting, executive-level meetings, needs assessments, site visits, proposals, presentations, negotiations, and contract execution.
- Direct major tender and Request for Proposal (RFP) pursuits, including opportunity qualification, bid strategy, pricing coordination, and submission quality.
- Build relationships with senior decision-makers and position Flash through service quality, trained personnel, dependable supervision, technology, and reporting, rather than price alone.

Sales Recruitment, Leadership & Development
- Recruit, onboard, coach, and lead Business Development Managers and other sales professionals as part of an approved team-expansion plan.
- Establish clear territories, account ownership, individual targets, performance expectations, and development plans.
- Implement consistent sales processes, CRM standards, pipeline reviews, forecasting, and accountability across the team.
- Build a results-driven culture that combines initiative, collaboration, ethical selling, and disciplined follow-through.

Ontario Expansion & Branch Leadership
- Develop practical regional expansion plans supported by customer demand, qualified opportunities, staffing capacity, operating requirements, and financial analysis.
- Work with Operations and senior leadership to establish the local relationships, sales coverage, supervision, and infrastructure required to support new markets.
- Create consistent commercial standards and reporting across regions while allowing teams to respond to local market needs.
- Progressively assume broader responsibility for branch leadership, regional budgets, business plans, and overall branch performance as agreed growth and leadership milestones are achieved.

Financial Performance & Client Success
- Take accountability for agreed revenue, contract profitability, sales-team productivity, and regional growth targets.
- Work with Finance and Operations to develop commercially sound pricing that reflects delivery costs, service requirements, and company margin expectations.
- Partner with Client Relations and Operations to ensure a smooth transition from contract award to service delivery, with clear commitments and realistic implementation plans.
- Support strategic account retention, renewals, and expansion, and provide senior leadership with accurate forecasts, performance reports, risks, and corrective action plans.

Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline is required. An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a strong asset.
- At least eight years of progressive B2B sales, business development, or commercial leadership experience, including at least three years recruiting, coaching, and managing sales professionals.
- A demonstrated record of personally securing significant contracts, growing revenue, and achieving profitability objectives. Candidates should be able to explain their individual contribution to measurable results.
- Experience in physical security, facilities management, janitorial services, or another recurring-contract service business is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success developing territories or entering new markets. Experience leading regional teams, branch operations, or multi-location businesses is a strong asset.
- Strong financial and commercial skills, including pricing, budgeting, forecasting, contract evaluation, and understanding profit-and-loss performance.
- Excellent written communication, executive presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills, with experience leading complex proposals and competitive tenders.

- Proficiency in CRM platforms, sales reporting, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace, together with the ability to use data to improve decisions and team performance.
- Ability to travel regularly throughout the GTA and across Ontario. A valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle are required.

What Success Looks Like Success in this role means more than a busy pipeline. It means profitable contracts that move into service, a productive and accountable sales team, stronger strategic client relationships, reliable forecasting, and regional expansion supported by sound business decisions.

We are looking for someone who can deliver results personally while building a team capable of producing consistent results without depending on one individual.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual Base Salary: CAD $98,000 to $148,000.

Performance-Based Compensation: Profitable business growth, team performance, and agreed regional objectives.

The position also includes health and dental benefits, paid time off, a vehicle allowance, and a company-provided cell phone and laptop.
