Position Overview

Rachel Barri Designs is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated Warehouse & Fulfilment Assistant to join our growing team.

As a Warehouse & Fulfilment Assistant, you will play an essential role in ensuring our customers and wholesale partners receive their orders accurately, efficiently, and beautifully packaged. This position supports the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, including order picking and packing, inventory organization, receiving shipments, and maintaining an efficient fulfilment process.

Key ResponsibilitiesOrder Fulfilment & Shipping

- Pick, pack, and prepare daily retail and wholesale orders accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure all orders are properly checked for accuracy, quality, and completeness before shipping.
- Package needlepoint canvases, threads, accessories, and other products according to company standards.
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation using Shopify and other fulfilment platforms.
- Assist with processing large wholesale orders, pre-orders, and seasonal order volumes.
- Ensure orders are fulfilled within established timelines and communicate any issues or delays to the Fulfilment Manager.
- Maintain a high standard of presentation and care when packaging customer orders.

Inventory Management & Organization

- Receive, unpack, count, and organize incoming inventory and shipments.
- Verify incoming products against packing slips and purchase orders, reporting any discrepancies.
- Assist with inventory counts, stock checks, and regular inventory audits.
- Replenish picking locations and ensure products are stored in their designated areas.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory adjustments as directed.




- Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrectly labelled merchandise.
- Help maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse environment.

Warehouse Operations

- Support the daily workflow of the warehouse to ensure orders are processed efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of packing stations, shelving, storage areas, and shared workspaces.
- Assist with assembling kits, preparing product bundles, labelling merchandise, and other special projects.
- Monitor packaging supplies and communicate when replenishment is required.
- Follow established warehouse procedures, quality-control standards, and workplace safety guidelines.
- Assist with preparing inventory and shipments for markets, events, and special promotions.
- Support the Fulfilment Manager and wider operations team with additional warehouse-related tasks as required.

Teamwork & Communication

- Work collaboratively with the fulfilment, retail, and operations teams to support daily business needs.
- Communicate inventory discrepancies, fulfilment challenges, and operational concerns in a timely manner.
- Follow instructions, prioritize assigned tasks, and meet daily productivity expectations.
- Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to assist during busy periods.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and solution-oriented team environment.

Qualifications & Skills

- Previous experience in warehouse operations, order fulfilment, shipping, or inventory management is an asset.




- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Comfortable working in a quick-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Basic computer skills; experience with Shopify or similar inventory and fulfilment systems is an asset.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, proactive, and willing to take initiative.
- Ability to perform physical warehouse duties, including standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, and lifting packages safely.
- An interest in needlepoint, crafting, or creative products is an asset but not required.

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
