Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-in Caregiver to provide exceptional in-home care for clients in Vaughan. This vital role involves offering personalized assistance to seniors or individuals with disabilities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and independence. Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote dignity and comfort.
- Administer medications accurately according to prescribed schedules and document all medication-related activities meticulously.
- Support clients with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and organizing their living space to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members.
- Assist with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safety at all times.




- Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship to enhance emotional well-being and reduce feelings of isolation.
- Follow all safety protocols related to assisted living, hospice care, dementia care, and working with individuals with disabilities.

Skills

- Proven experience in assisted living environments or home care settings with a focus on senior care or hospice support.
- Strong patient care skills with an understanding of nursing home procedures and dementia care strategies.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper body mechanics.
- Excellent caregiving abilities combined with patience, empathy, and active listening skills.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety procedures.
- Capable of managing household tasks such as cleaning, meal preparation, and organizing daily routines efficiently.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable.
