**Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated Dog Trainer and Kennel Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with dogs and clients to achieve their training goals.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist in the daily care of animals including feeding, cleaning, and socializing

- Train dogs in our boarding and training programs

- Assist with group training classes and training of dogs boarding at the facility

- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kennel facility

- Interact with pet owners and provide excellent customer service

-Work one on one with pet owners to train their dogs in private sessions

- Assist with administrative tasks such as record-keeping and scheduling

**Experience:**

- Previous experience working with dogs is preferred

- Outgoing, Strong customer service skills

- Ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary

- Familiarity with balanced training techniques and training tools including prong collars and e-collars





-Willingness to adjust training techniques to fit our systems

-Evenings and Weekend availabilty is a must

- Access to a vehicle and ability to travel regularly between our two locations in Stouffville and East York is mandatory

Please note: There will be an extended training period working with our current trainers to ensure comfort and compliance with our handling methods and practices in training sessions. Pay/schedule is subject to change
