We are currently seeking a dependable, safety-focused Air Sweeper Operator to join our local operations team in British Columbia.

Position Overview

The Air Sweeper Operator is responsible for operating regenerative air street sweepers for municipal roads, commercial properties, construction sites, and infrastructure projects throughout the Lower Mainland. This position is strictly local to BC, allowing for steady, predictable schedules with night/day shift variations depending on project demands.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate air sweeper units in according with provincial driving regulations and company safety standards.
- Perform thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Maintain clean roadways and property surfaces to client and municipal specifications.
- Complete daily digital or paper work logs,



shift reports, and route documentation accurately.
- Conduct routine daily equipment checks, fluid top-offs, and basic maintenance (e.g., hopper cleaning, broom adjustments).

Qualifications & Requirements

- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class 5 with Air Brake endorsement).
- Clean Commercial Driver’s Abstract.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating street sweepers or similar commercial vehicles preferred.
- Strong familiarity with Lower Mainland / Metro Vancouver road networks.
- Commitment to workplace safety, hazard awareness, and proper PPE protocols.
- Ability to work flexible shifts (including night shifts or weekend schedules when required).
