Join our dynamic team as a Pre-Engineered Building Installer specializing in Pre-engineered Steel, Pre-engineered Fabric, and Prefabricated Modular construction! Duties

- Safely assemble, align, bolt, and anchor pre-engineered steel frames, trusses, and fabric components according to manufacturer specifications and site drawings.
- Operate heavy equipment safely to lift, position, and secure steel beams, panels, and modular units on-site.
- Set and level precast structural concrete blocks, then assemble, anchor, and install pre-engineered building components directly onto the foundation structure.
- Install fiberglass blanket insulation and vapor barrier facings over structural framing, ensuring all seams are fully overlapped, taped, and sealed for continuous thermal and condensation control.

Qualifications

- Proven construction experience in pre-engineered steel (PEB), fabric cover/tension structures, or modular building erection.
- Robust ability to read blueprints, schematics,



and technical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation.
- Comfortable working at heights, working outdoors in all weather conditions, and lifting heavy materials.
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward safety protocols and quality standards.

Required Qualifications & Certifications:

- Valid Fall Protection / Working at Heights certification (Required)
- Valid Aerial Work Platform (AWP / MEWP) ticket for Scissor & Boom lifts (Required)
- Valid Telehandler / Zoom Boom (Class VII) operator ticket (Preferred / Asset)
- 1–3+ years experience assembling pre-engineered steel, fabric, or modular buildings
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and reliable transportation to Winnipeg job sites

Physical & Site Requirements:

- Comfortable working at heights (20+ feet) off boom/scissor lifts and elevated structures
- Able to safely handle site tools, hardware, and structural components (up to 30–40 lbs)
- All mandatory site PPE (harness, lanyard, hard hat); candidate must bring CSA-approved steel-toe boots

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
