As a Bilingual Claims Processor, you will review and process claims for HVAC units, water heaters, boilers and manufactured housing, help contractors, repair facilities and customers in both English and French through the claims process, determine coverage and claim amounts, and answer contract and coverage questions.

What you’ll do

- Be part of a claims team working together to complete daily assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Review and evaluate breakdown claims and assess them against the applicable coverage, including customer contracts and agreements with contractors, dealers and HVAC distributors.
- Help customers work through their challenges when they experience a breakdown, while supporting company goals.
- Answer coverage questions from customers, dealers, contractors and service providers by telephone and email, in English and French.

Who we’re looking for

- A career-oriented individual who likes to solve puzzles and resolve issues, with a strong focus on providing great customer service.
- Experience in a call centre,



customer service or claims role. Any type of call centre experience is welcome.
- Claims processing experience in a current or previous role in HVAC, home warranty, appliances, electronics, furniture or a similar product protection or service contract environment.
- Or, an HVAC or trades background and mechanical aptitude, such as a technician, service coordinator or parts specialist with HVAC, plumbing or heating experience.
- A bilingual (English and French) professional based in Canada, with a preference for the London, Ontario area.

What you’ll bring

- Oral and written communication skills in both English and French.
- Prior call centre, customer service or claims processing experience, or mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems, water heaters, boilers or other home equipment. Experience in the warranty industry is an asset.
- Proven customer service skills and experience handling customer complaints.
- Intermediate typing skills and strong computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite and web-based applications.
- Strong analytical, time management and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to manage a variety of priorities in a fast-paced, busy environment.

What CornerStone offers

- Full-time, Monday to Friday daytime schedule with a one-hour lunch each day. Standard shifts are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
