Duties

- Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders efficiently and accurately.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, giving correct change and managing cash handling responsibilities responsibly.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by following proper food handling procedures and ensuring cleanliness of work areas.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality food preparation.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking ingredients and supplies as needed, supporting smooth kitchen operations.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner,



upselling menu items when appropriate to enhance their experience and increase sales.

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation and food service within a restaurant or food industry setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for quick and accurate order processing.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing transactions accurately.
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
