247 GARD is looking for reliable and qualified Male Bouncers / Security Guards to provide security services at a bar on weekends.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and the property while providing a professional and respectful security presence.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the entrance and surrounding areas.
- Check IDs and control access as required by the site and applicable laws.
- Monitor guests and identify potential safety or security concerns.
- Prevent and respond to disturbances, fights, and other incidents.
- De-escalate situations calmly and professionally.
- Assist with maintaining a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Monitor for intoxicated or disruptive individuals and follow site procedures.
- Work closely with bar management and staff.
- Contact emergency services when required.
- Complete incident reports when necessary.
- Maintain a professional appearance and remain alert throughout the shift.
Requirements
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
- Valid Smart Serve certification.
- Valid Use of Force certification.
- Previous bouncer, bar security, or security experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in difficult situations.
- Reliable and available to work Friday and/or Saturday nights.
- Must be comfortable working late-night shifts.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
