Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly at the front counter, taking orders with enthusiasm and accuracy
- Prepare and bake pretzels and other baked goods following established recipes and food safety standards
- Handle food preparation tasks such as mixing dough, portioning ingredients, and packaging products for sale
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and customer area to ensure a safe, hygienic environment
- Assist with food handling procedures, ensuring all products meet quality standards and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering recommendations,
and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Placing orders into the POS system.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Skills in cake decorating, baking, and food preparation are highly valued
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, positive attitude towards customers and team members
- Experience with kitchen tasks such as cooking, baking, packaging, and general food industry procedures is an asset
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation, baking, and customer service
