Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RPN (Registered Practical Nurse) Advanced Foot Care Nurse to join our energetic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide specialized foot care services to diverse patient populations, including seniors, individuals with chronic conditions, and those requiring advanced wound management. Duties

- Perform comprehensive foot assessments, including identifying risk factors for foot ulcers, infections, and other complications.
- Deliver advanced foot care treatments such as debridement, wound dressing changes, and infection control procedures.
- Educate patients and caregivers on proper foot hygiene, footwear selection, and preventive measures to maintain foot health.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, podiatrists, physiotherapists, and case managers to develop personalized care plans.




- Document all patient interactions accurately using electronic health records systems like Jane app
- Assist with triaging urgent foot-related issues and coordinate referrals for specialized care when necessary.

Requirements

- Valid registration as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with current licensure.
- Proven experience in nursing home settings, hospital environments, or acute care units.
- Knowledge of dementia care, senior care, hospice care, and assisted living environments.
- Strong understanding of pain management strategies and case management principles.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse populations.

Pay: $30.00-$60.00 per hour
