YOUR MISSIONS
I am looking for a senior accountant for an insurance company on Montreal’s South Shore
Your responsibilities will include:
- Participating in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, as well as in the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
- Perform account reconciliations, analyze variances, and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare working papers and supporting documentation required for audits.
- Conduct financial analyses and contribute to management reports to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and established procedures.
- Participate in the improvement and automation of accounting processes.
- Participate in the implementation of processes using artificial intelligence.
- Contribute to financial transformation projects, particularly acquisitions and the integration of new entities.
YOUR PROFILE
Your Profile:
- CPA required
- 3 to 7 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Proficiency in financial close processes, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and a good understanding of ERP systems.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, independence, and excellent analytical skills.
- Demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills.
- Be able to manage multiple priorities in a energetic and constantly evolving environment.
- Show initiative and a strong interest in continuous improvement.
