The Role: More Than Just Sales

We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Retail Wireless Sales Specialist to join our showroom team.

In this dynamic, hybrid customer-facing role, you will be the face of SmartCell Communications. You’ll combine interactive showroom sales with corporate EPP account support, helping everyday clients, corporate partner employees, and local business clients navigate the full ecosystem of TELUS and Koodo products.

Showroom & Retail Sales Excellence

- Consultative Selling: Greet and engage showroom guests, identifying their lifestyle or business needs to recommend complete hardware and plan solutions.
- TELUS & Koodo Ecosystem Solutions: Drive sales across mobile hardware (smartphones, tablets, wearables), SmartHome Security, Stream+, and accessories.
- Showroom Presentation: Maintain a clean, welcoming, and fully functional showroom display environment that reflects the high standards of SmartCell Communications and TELUS.

EPP (Exclusive Partner Program) Account Support

- Corporate Client Onboarding: Guide eligible corporate, healthcare, government,



and association employees through their organization's TELUS EPP discounts and rate plans.
- Account Verification & Order Processing: Validate EPP eligibility, handle device migrations, process new line activations, and guide clients through hardware upgrades seamlessly.
- EPP Support & Troubleshooting: Act as a helpful point of contact for EPP clients visiting the showroom or reaching out with plan, billing, or device setup questions.

Customer Support & Account Care

- End-to-End Service: Provide top-tier technical and account support, including device setup, data transfers, content migration, and warranty handling.
- Customer Retention: Build lasting client loyalty by offering proactive plan health checks, addressing inquiries with empathy, and ensuring an outstanding post-sale experience.

Teamwork & Goal Achievement

- Target Driven: Meet and exceed personal and showroom sales targets for activations, hardware upgrades, and recurring revenue add-ons.
- Process & Compliance: Accurately manage inventory, complete POS entries, adhere to carrier guidelines, and handle customer data securely.

What You Bring to the Table

- Experience: 1+ years of success in retail sales, wireless/telecom sales, customer support,



or hospitality (experience with TELUS/Koodo systems or EPP workflows is a strong asset).
- Communication: Warm, professional, and articulate communication skills—both face-to-face and over the phone/email.
- Tech Enthusiasm: A genuine passion for mobile hardware, smart home tech, and staying up-to-date with brand releases (Apple, Samsung, Google).
- Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional attention to detail when processing complex accounts, EPP verifications, and device configurations.
- Adaptability: Comfortable juggling walk-in retail traffic with scheduled EPP consultations and customer support interactions in a fast-paced environment.
