We're looking for a Senior Fabricator who takes pride in their craft and brings over 5 years of hands-on experience to the role. If you have a strong background in fabrication and welding, can work independently with minimal training, and are confident using your experience and practical judgement to tackle a variety of fabrication projects, this could be a excellent fit.

What You Bring• 5+ years of hands-on fabrication and welding experience is required

- Strong ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, including weld symbols and welding requirements
- Ability to fabricate independently both from detailed drawings and in situations where complete drawings are not available
- Strong practical fabrication judgement with the ability to work from sketches, samples, measurements, verbal direction, or an existing product
- Experience measuring, laying out, fitting, and assembling fabricated components
- Ability to determine appropriate fabrication methods and sequencing with minimal supervision
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working on prototypes, one-off projects, repairs, and existing products where the fabrication approach may need to be developed on the shop floor
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work
- Willingness to share knowledge and help develop less experienced fabricators
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a collaborative approach
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience with custom or low-volume fabrication, jigs and fixtures, prototyping, process improvement, or assisting with fabrication drawing development would be considered an asset.

What You’ll Do• Weld, fit, and fabricate components and assemblies to drawings and specifications

- Fabricate prototypes, one-off components, repairs, and existing products where complete technical drawings may not yet exist
- Work from technical drawings, sketches,



samples, measurements, verbal direction, and existing components as required
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, dimensions, weld symbols, and other technical information
- Measure, lay out, cut, fit, and assemble components
- Use sound fabrication judgement to determine appropriate methods and sequencing when detailed work instructions are not available
- Troubleshoot fit-up, fabrication, and welding issues and develop practical solutions
- Identify unclear or incomplete fabrication information and work collaboratively with the fabrication team and CAD Technician to resolve it
- Help translate successful shop-floor fabrication methods into improved drawings and repeatable processes
- Provide practical fabrication input as we continue improving and standardizing our manufacturing drawings and processes
- Learn Wellmaster's established products and fabrication methods from experienced members of the team
- Provide guidance and training to less experienced team members
- Contribute to a safe, clean, productive, and collaborative work environment

What We Offer• Stable full-time employment

- Competitive hourly wage: $30.00 - $34.00/hour based on skillset and experience
- Great Hours: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, allowing you to have a life outside of work
- Shift Premium: This is rare and is on an as-needed basis. You’ll receive $0.75/hour as a shift premium for afternoon shifts (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM)
- Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental,



and insurance beginning on the first of the month following completion of orientation term
- Group RRSP plan, beginning March 1, following 2,000 hours of employment

- Annual reviews and pay increases, in December of each year, your performance and skill levels will be evaluated with you and rates of pay will be increased accordingly.
