We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Fabric Preparation Assistant to join our event draping team. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning, folding, steaming, organizing, and preparing fabrics for upcoming events. Your attention to detail will help ensure all fabrics are clean, wrinkle-free, and ready for use.
Duties
- Steam and iron fabrics to remove wrinkles.
- Fold and organize fabrics neatly after each event.
- Inspect used fabrics for stains, dirt, or damage.
- Sort and prepare fabrics for cleaning.
- Prepare new fabrics for upcoming events.
- Measure, cut, and organize fabrics when needed.
- Keep the fabric storage and work area clean and organized.
- Pack and prepare fabrics for event setups.
- Assist with lifting and moving fabric rolls and materials.
- Ensure all fabrics are properly maintained and stored.
Requirements
- Must be organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks such as folding and steaming.
- Able to lift and carry fabric rolls.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Previous experience with fabrics is an asset but not required.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
