Job Title: Sanitation and Packaging Operator- Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM
Location: Brantford, ON
We are seeking a reliable operator for a mixed role involving packaging during the first part of the shift, followed by cleaning and sanitizing production equipment and facility areas.
Responsibilities
- Perform packaging duties and prepare products for distribution.
- Clean and sanitize equipment, floors, walls, drains, and work areas.
- Safely handle cleaning chemicals and prepare solutions according to established procedures and SDS instructions.
- Perform hot water and high-pressure washdown.
- Follow WHMIS, PPE, GMP, HACCP, food safety, and workplace safety requirements.
- Complete sanitation records and report safety concerns, spills, or equipment issues to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Previous sanitation experience in a food manufacturing workplace
- Previous food production, packaging, and manufacturing experience
- Comfortable handling cleaning chemicals and performing sanitation duties.
- Able to follow safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety.
