HEAVY DUTY PARTS TECHNICIAN / SALES

We recently opened our Heavy Duty truck parts store in Drayton Valley, we’re looking for an experienced Parts Technician / Parts Sales Qualified to join our team.

This is more than a traditional parts-counter position. We’re looking for someone who can bring experience, ideas and energy to the operation and help us build a strong parts business in Drayton Valley and the surrounding area.

With our parts operation growing, a major part of this position will bevendor and customer relations. We want someone who understands that building a successful parts business requires developing healthy relationships on both sides of the counter.

Can you help us improve our inventory, vendor network, pricing, customer service and overall sales strategy?

What we’re looking for:

- Heavy-duty truck parts knowledge and experience
- Strong parts sales and customer service skills
- Excellent vendor and customer relationship skills
- Ability to develop new customers and strengthen existing relationships




- Experience working with suppliers, negotiating pricing and developing vendor relationships
- Ability to source, quote and cross-reference heavy-duty parts
- Experience with inventory, purchasing and store operations
- Ability to identify new product lines and sales opportunities
- Comfortable reaching out to trucking companies, repair shops, fleets, owner-operators and other potential customers
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Self-motivated and willing to take initiative
- Eager to learn new products, systems and ways of doing business
- Willing to share knowledge, teach others and help develop the team.
