Overview

Join our dynamic transportation team as a Taxi Dispatcher, where you'll be the vital link ensuring seamless communication between drivers, passengers, and our operational systems. In this energetic role, you'll coordinate ride requests, manage dispatch operations, and optimize vehicle deployment to deliver exceptional service. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will help us maintain efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

- Handle incoming ride requests via multi-line phone systems and digital platforms with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring clear communication and accurate data entry.
- Utilize transportation management systems and SyteLine software to assign trips, monitor vehicle locations, and update dispatch records in real-time.
- Coordinate with drivers to optimize routes, manage schedules, and respond swiftly to any operational changes or emergencies.
- Maintain detailed logs of dispatch activities, including trip details, driver assignments, and incident reports using AS400 and shipping & receiving systems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety protocols during all communications with drivers and passengers.
- Conduct analysis of dispatch data to identify opportunities for improving efficiency and service quality.




- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to foster positive relationships with customers and team members.

Experience

- Proven experience working with transportation management systems (TMS) or similar dispatch software.
- Familiarity with supply chain logistics, freight operations, or third-party logistics (3PL) environments is highly desirable.
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and typing speed; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously using multi-line phone systems.
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, freight handling, and related documentation processes.
- Excellent analysis skills for reviewing operational data to enhance dispatch workflows.
- Exceptional communication skills paired with professional phone etiquette to ensure clear, respectful interactions.
- Prior experience in a customer service or call center workplace is a plus.

Pay: $17.95-$18.35 per hour
