Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in appliance repair, mechanical knowledge, and electrical experience. This role involves diagnosing and repairing a variety of household appliances while providing excellent customer service. The Appliance Technician will work independently and must be comfortable interpreting schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair various household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ranges.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance.
- Utilize electrical experience to troubleshoot electrical components and wiring issues within appliances.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to disassemble, repair, and reassemble appliances as needed.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical documentation to understand appliance functionality.
- Assist in the installation of new appliances when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in appliance repair or a related field is preferred.
- Robust electrical experience with the ability to troubleshoot wiring issues.
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in repairing mechanical components.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with mangement and clients.
- Familiarity with schematics and technical manuals for various appliances.
- Experience with HVAC systems is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
