Responsibilities

- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport materials safely throughout the warehouse
- Manage shipping and receiving activities by accurately processing inbound and outbound shipments using warehouse management systems like AS400
- Perform heavy lifting, packaging, and order picking to fulfill customer orders efficiently
- Maintain organization of warehouse distribution areas to ensure safety and accessibility
- Assist with construction-related tasks when necessary, utilizing mechanical knowledge and heavy equipment operation skills
- Support inventory control through regular stock counts, cycle counts, and updating records in warehouse management systems




- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all operations, including load & unload procedures and heavy equipment handling

Requirements

- Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in warehouse distribution environments
- Valid certification for forklift operation; experience with reach trucks, cranes, and other heavy equipment is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
- Hands-on experience with order picker machines and warehouse management systems such as AS400 or similar platforms
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
- Strong understanding of shipping & receiving processes, order fulfillment, packaging, and load & unload procedures
- Construction or manufacturing experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and order accuracy

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
