Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Indian dishes with precision, consistency, and flair.
- Ensure all food preparation meets safety standards and follows proper food handling procedures.
- Assist in meal planning, ingredient selection, and portion control to maintain quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations.
- Serve dishes efficiently while providing friendly and professional customer service.
- Follow recipes accurately while adding creative touches to enhance flavor profiles.
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and communicating supply needs promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant kitchen roles, preferably within the Indian cuisine sector.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, meal preparation processes, and food industry standards.
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable; experience in the Indian food industry is a plus.
- Enthusiastic team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude toward food service excellence.
