We are hiring experienced line cooks at Milestones Grill + Bar.

The Job

We are looking for passionate and qualified individuals who love to cook and who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen.

You would bring previous experience as a line cook in a busy restaurant, strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

- Follow established recipes to prepare menu items properly and efficiently
- Follow guidelines to ensure correct serving temperatures and adequate portion control
- Operating kitchen equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Efficient cleaning and sanitization of cooking areas
- Working closely with teammates to coordinate orders and maintain harmonious and productive working environment

Requirements and Skills

- Proven work experience as a line cook in a similar role (required)
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent teamwork and communication, both verbal and written




- Proficient understanding of food allergies and modified diets
- Time-management skills
- Flexibility in schedule, including evening, weekends and holidays
- Food-Safe Lvl 1 (asset)
