- Monday to Thursday: 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM (8 regular hours + 2 overtime hours daily)
- Friday: 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM (8 regular hours)
Job Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Zoom Boom Operator to join our team in East Edmonton. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a Zoom Boom to support site operations while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, productivity, and teamwork. The ideal candidate will have experience working on construction or industrial sites and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to all safety requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a Zoom Boom on an active construction or industrial site
- Load, unload, move, and place materials as directed
- Conduct pre-operational equipment inspections and report any deficiencies
- Follow all site-specific safety requiremetns and company policies
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other trades on site
- Assist with other site-related duties as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating a Zoom Boom
- Valid equipment operator certification/ticket and CSTS required
- Must be able to satisfy site access requirements, including pre-access Drug & Alcohol testing
- Strong understanding of construction site safety practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation to and from site
- Robust work ethic and commitment to safe work practices
