Nordtek Trailers Inc. is looking for a dependable and hardworking individual to join our production team in Aylmer, Ontario. This position involves assisting with the assembly of aluminum trailers as well as cleaning and preparing completed trailers for final inspection and delivery.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, takes pride in their work, and pays close attention to detail. Duties will include general trailer assembly, installation of components and hardware, cleaning and detailing trailers, removing manufacturing debris and residue, and ensuring finished trailers are clean and presentable before leaving the facility.
Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person. Candidates should be comfortable using basic hand and power tools, performing physical work, and working both independently and as part of a production team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist with assembly of aluminum trailers and trailer components
- Install hardware, accessories and other components as required
- Clean and detail completed trailers
- Remove dust, debris, fingerprints, adhesives and manufacturing residue
- Inspect finished work for cleanliness and overall appearance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow production procedures and health and safety requirements
- Assist with other production duties as required
