Summary

Join Frankie as a Night Shift Supervisor in Canada to lead our manufacturing operations during the night. Your role will be vital in ensuring efficient production processes and maintaining high-quality standards aligned with our company's mission.

We are seeking a hands-on, organized, and motivated Night Shift Production Supervisor to oversee overnight operations within our snack manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for supervising production, warehousing, documentation, sanitation coordination, and shipping activities to ensure all operations run safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality and food safety standards.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and can effectively manage production staff, prioritize workflow, troubleshoot issues, and ensure accurate reporting across departments.

Key Responsibilities

Production Oversight

- Supervise nightly production activities to ensure production schedules and targets are met.
- Monitor line performance, efficiencies, downtime, waste, and labor utilization.
- Ensure products are manufactured according to quality, food safety, and customer specifications.
- Coordinate line changeovers, start-ups, shutdowns, and troubleshooting with maintenance and quality teams.
- Ensure all Positive Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP, BRC, and health & safety procedures are followed.
- Lead and support production staff by providing direction, training, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Ensure staffing levels are appropriate and labor is allocated efficiently throughout the shift.

Warehousing & Inventory

- Oversee raw material and packaging supply flow to production lines.
- Coordinate warehouse activities including receiving, storage, staging,



and inventory movement.
- Ensure accurate inventory handling and proper stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO).
- Monitor warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance standards.

Shipping & Logistics

- Coordinate outbound shipments and ensure orders are prepared accurately and on schedule.
- Work closely with shipping staff and carriers to maintain efficient loading operations.
- Verify shipping documentation and ensure accuracy of finished goods counts and pallet configurations.
- Support inventory reconciliation and end-of-shift reporting.

Documentation & Compliance

- Ensure all production, quality, sanitation, and shipping documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain production reports, downtime logs, inventory records, and labor tracking.
- Support traceability, lot control, and audit readiness requirements.
- Communicate shift updates, issues, and production results clearly to management and day shift teams.

Qualifications

- Previous supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment required.
- Experience in snack food, extrusion, or packaged food manufacturing considered a strong asset.
- Strong understanding of food safety, GMPs, HACCP, and manufacturing best practices.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and team management abilities.
- Comfortable using ERP systems, production reporting tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Forklift certification or experience considered an asset.

- Flexibility for overtime and occasional weekend work as required.

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
