Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide exceptional care and assistance to individuals in need of support in their daily lives. Responsibilities

- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental health and social engagement
- Administer medications accurately according to care plans and document all medication-related activities
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning client spaces to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
- Support clients with mobility exercises and transfers using proper techniques to prevent injury
- Monitor health status, report any changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members





Qualifications

- Prior experience working as a Personal Support Worker or in assisted living, nursing home, or home care settings is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities, including dementia care expertise
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation tasks efficiently
- Certification as a Personal Support Worker or equivalent is an asset but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary credentials is welcomed
- Physical ability to perform caregiving duties that involve standing, walking, lifting, and assisting clients with mobility
