Summary
We are seeking a skilled Brake Press / Shear Operator to join our dynamic team in Bracebridge. In this role, you will be essential in fabricating high-quality components for our waste collection equipment, ensuring precision and efficiency in our production processes.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
- Perform quality checks on finished products using calipers and other measuring tools.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production schedules are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following company safety protocols.
- Assist in troubleshooting machine issues and perform routine maintenance as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of basic math concepts for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Experience operating forklifts and cranes is preferred but not mandatory.
