We have an immediate opening for an Outside Sales Representative to grow our business across Eastern Ontario. Based in the Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, Barrie, or Innisfil area and reporting to the National Pro Sales Manager, you'll play a key role in driving sales, building customer relationships, and growing our business within the distributor, builder, industrial, hardware, tool, trade, and OEM channels. Responsibilities include:

· Calling on distributors, builders, light industrial, hardware, tool and trade, and OEM accounts, not only to maintain, but increase sales for the manufacturer’s King Marketing represents in this area.

· Selling represented products to wholesale distributors that operate in the trade, commercial, industrial, and Pro channels and support these sales further by working with the distributor representatives to help grow sales.

· To actively prospect and solicit new customers.

· To provide solutions on product application, develop programs, and focus on long term high value relationships.

· To conduct product knowledge training sessions with store staff, which could involve “lunch and learns” and product demos.

· To organize and implement end user and job site calls.

· Working directly with the represented manufacturers both on the road, on the job site and through virtual meetings, phone,



and e-mail contact.

· Participating in trade shows, dealer shows, and customer events.

· Building and maintaining relationships at all levels in the territory from the head office to the individual store staff, managers, and owners.

· Meeting or exceeding sales targets.

· Willing to spend up to 25% of the time on overnight travel in the territory.

· Reporting all activities daily through an on-line reporting system

Education

· High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience

· Industry experience either in the wholesale channel, kitchen cabinet manufacturing, light industrial, or power tool related industries not mandatory but would be helpful.

· Trade experience would also be an asset.

Requirements

· Clean Driving License.

· Reliable vehicle.

· Ability to travel to USA
