Job Summary

Wanted immediately a motivated and detail-oriented Shipper / Receiver to join our team.

In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring products are properly stored, packaged, and dispatched efficiently. Your proactive approach will help maintain smooth warehouse operations, this position offers an exciting prospect to work in a fast-paced environment

Duties

- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
- Load and unload trucks safely using forklifts, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting, packing, and labeling products accurately for timely delivery.
- Maintain organized storage of inventory within the warehouse
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure stock accuracy.
- Follow proper packaging procedures to protect products during transit while optimizing space utilization in shipping containers or pallets..
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts safely, maintaining certification requirements.




- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse environment to promote a secure workspace.

Experience

- Previous experience working in shipping & receiving preferred but willing to train the right indivdual
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts, certification is required we will have the right candidate trained and certified.
- Must have valid class 5 license
- Strong understanding of order fulfillment procedures including order picking, packing, loading & unloading shipments.
- Basic math and computer skills for counting inventory, measuring packages, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards.
